    Repair, Recover, and Thrive

By learning new skills, you can deal with problems in a healthier way.

You’ve been struggling to find the joy in your relationship. Every day seems hard as the arguments continue. You long to enjoy the family and the life you dreamed of having. You’re worried that you or your partner’s use of substances has become a problem. Worse yet, you are reeling from the devastating effects of infidelity.

    Sound familiar?

I’m Julie Ford, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience. I specialize in couples therapy, with advanced training in recovery from addiction or infidelity. I work with couples throughout the lifespan, from dating or engaged through the middle years of raising kids, to rediscovering the joy and passion in your marriage after your kids leave home, to finding new paths of meaning and connection in retirement. I also work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addictive behaviors, relationship issues, and those who are concerned about a loved one’s substance use.

By learning new skills, you can deal with problems in a healthier way. Couples can grow and change through crisis. And sometimes when even just one person in the family begins to make changes, others around them may change as well. With better tools for communication and intimacy, relationships can heal.
